Hexagon World Series has officially unveiled its plans for the 2027 season, announcing an international calendar featuring four events across three continents, confirming the participation of eight teams — seven of which have already been announced, with the identity of the eighth to be revealed soon — and introducing a revolutionary competition format that replaces the traditional scoring system with a faster alternative designed to deliver a new experience for fans.

The announcements were made during the official season launch at the iconic Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi, attended by Enrique Buenaventura, co-founder of Hexagon World Series and founder of Hexagon Cup, and Gary Davidson, co-founder of Hexagon World Series.

The event marks a milestone in the evolution of Hexagon Cup into Hexagon World Series, the first official professional team padel circuit governed by the International Padel Federation FIP, bringing together teams backed by leading figures from the worlds of sport and entertainment.

Following three successful editions of Hexagon Cup in Madrid, the competition has continued to grow since its launch in 2024. In 2025, it expanded from six to eight teams, and in 2026, it attracted more than 37,000 spectators.

This growth now paves the way for international expansion in 2027, with four events scheduled across Europe, North America and the Middle East. Abu Dhabi stands out as the latest confirmed host city, having officially been named the venue for the season finale.

Four Events Across Three Continents, with Abu Dhabi Hosting the Grand Finale

The first international season of Hexagon World Series will feature four events across three continents, taking the competition to four countries for the first time.

  • Madrid, Spain: January 21–24, 2027.

  • North America: March 2027.

  • Scandinavia: June 2027.

  • Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: October 21–24, 2027.

Madrid will kick off the season with the GENERALI Hexagon Cup Madrid, held at Caja Mágica. The competition will then travel to North America in March, bringing its team-based format to a region closely connected to the origins and development of padel.

Scandinavia will host the third event in June, marking the competitions debut in Northern Europe and reflecting the sports growing popularity across the region.

The season will conclude in Abu Dhabi from October 21–24, 2027, with the capital of the United Arab Emirates officially confirmed as the host of the fourth and final event of the year.

The announcement marks the arrival of Hexagon World Series in the Middle East for the first time, bringing some of the worlds leading professional players and the international teams competing for the season title to Abu Dhabi.

As the final stop on the calendar, Abu Dhabi will also be the stage where the first overall Hexagon World Series champion is crowned, based on the cumulative results achieved by the teams across all four events.

The cities hosting the North American and Scandinavian events will be officially announced at a later date.
